Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) is beloved in the low brass community for his glorious symphonic writing for tuba and trombones in his orchestral works. Tubists have also claimed his choral works in many arrangements for various tuba ensembles.
Prelude in D Minor, WAB 130 is a short organ chorale, presented here transcribed for Tuba/Euphonium quartet. Although the work is probably too short to be performed on its own, this chorale can be combined with other Bruckner transcriptions to create a suite or used as a warm-up. Although there's lyrical playing for all involved, this prelude really puts the second tuba to work. There's some great fugal counterpoint and technical passages for the whole quartet. I'm not sure if intended this postlude to be paired with WAB 130, but I think they work nicely as duo anyways.
